Night hunt 2 is an adventurous platform game where players guide papa louie through spooky nighttime levels filled with challenges. Papa louie has to navigate dark landscapes overcome tricky obstacles and fend off mutant vegetable monsters in this sequel to collect coins and unlock his way to a mysterious pizzeria. The game has 15 levels of difficulty each with a hidden star that players can find for extra rewards. Player needs to use strategy and timing to avoid enemies and to locate hidden paths that lead to bonuses and shortcuts.
The players control papa louie in terms of gameplay by using the arrow keys to move and the z key to attack enemies. Aside from pepper bombs they can also use the x key to clear the path. Players can unlock new outfits and weapons for papa louie as they progress to add to the excitement.
