The Plumber Is Back
Kill the Plumber 2 continues the role-reversing platform idea from the first game. The plumber once again tries to cross each stage and reach his goal. You control the enemies and need to stop him before he gets there.
The sequel adds new stages and new minions to control. Some challenges take place on land while others bring the action into water.
Movement uses the arrow keys or W, A, S, and D. The controls remain simple, but each enemy has its own strengths and limits.
The plumber moves quickly and does not wait for you. Many stages give you only a short amount of time to make the right move.
Use the Enemy Correctly
One of the main ideas in Kill the Plumber 2 is learning what your current character can do.
Some stages put you in control of small ground enemies. Others change the setup and give you different ways to attack or block the plumber. You may even control more than one creature in certain situations.
Running directly toward the plumber can end badly. He can jump onto enemies, so standing underneath a falling hero is not a good plan.
Instead, watch his movement and work out where he will land. A small adjustment at the right moment can block his route.
Faster Action and More Timing
Kill the Plumber 2 mixes puzzle thinking with quick movement. The sequel places more pressure on timing than many of the early challenges in the first game.
The scenery can also become part of the solution. A level may require more than simply touching the plumber. You need to understand the stage and use the available enemy in the intended way.
The short level format makes restarting easy when a plan fails. A failed attempt can also reveal something useful. You may discover how high the plumber jumps or which route he takes toward the flag or princess.
Kill the Plumber 2 keeps the funny reversed setup of the original while giving the enemy side another collection of challenges. Instead of jumping over monsters and racing toward the exit, you become the obstacle. Your job is to study the hero, use each minion properly, and make sure the plumber never finishes his trip.
