The game combines running, jumping, shooting, and large physics-based action scenes. It has nine large levels along with three major boss battles that unfold in several stages.
Use the Environment During Fights
Intrusion 2 does not treat every object like a painted background.
Parts of the environment can move and react. Enemies also use physics-based movement, which makes fights look less stiff than a simple run-and-shoot game.
You can aim with the mouse while moving through the level. Weapons become important as stronger soldiers and machines appear.
Some areas contain traps, moving objects, or large structures that turn an ordinary firefight into a more complicated action scene.
Ride Wolves and Control Machines
The adventure becomes much stranger as it continues. You can ride huge creatures, use vehicles, and even take control of powerful mechanical machines during certain sections.
These moments give the game variety. One section may involve normal platform movement and gunfire. Another can suddenly place you on a massive wolf or inside a machine built for much heavier combat.
The game also has three difficulty settings. Harder modes increase the number of enemies and add more danger.
Bosses Turn Into Huge Battles
The large bosses are one of the main parts of Intrusion 2. These fights do not always stay in one small arena. They can change as the battle continues and force you to react to new attacks.
Learning movement becomes just as important as firing constantly. Jumping at the wrong time can put you directly into another attack.
Intrusion 2 keeps the feel of an old side-scrolling shooter but fills it with bigger animation, interactive environments, unusual vehicles, and large-scale boss fights.
The basic idea stays easy to follow: move forward, find better weapons, deal with enemy soldiers and machines, survive the traps, and keep pushing through the military-controlled planet.
