Protect Your Spaceship From Alien Invaders
Mutant Alien Assault is a space action game where you defend your spaceship against waves of strange alien creatures. The aliens keep entering your ship, and you need to stop them while preparing the spaceship for an escape.
Your main goal is to collect fuel rods and place them inside the reactor. The reactor powers your spaceship’s hyper jump, which helps it escape from danger.
The game takes place inside a spaceship with several platforms. You can run, jump, and use different weapons to protect yourself from the approaching aliens.
Mutant Alien Assault includes five space-themed levels and a Survival Mode. The action gets challenging as more creatures enter the playing area.
How to Play Mutant Alien Assault
You control your character using the keyboard. The game offers two control options.
With the first option, use the left and right arrow keys to move. Press the up arrow or X to jump. The C key lets you shoot, while the down arrow activates the weapon dispenser.
The second option uses A and D for movement. Press W or K to jump, J to shoot, and S to use the weapon dispenser.
You need to move between platforms while watching the aliens around you. Standing in one place for too long can make it easier for enemies to surround your character.
Collect Fuel Rods to Power the Reactor
Mutant Alien Assault gives you more to do than simply dealing with aliens.
Your spaceship needs fuel to perform a hyper jump. You must collect fuel rods and carry them to the reactor while avoiding the creatures that enter the ship.
This task becomes harder when several enemies appear on different platforms.
You need to balance collecting fuel with keeping the playing area safe. Focusing only on the reactor can leave your character surrounded by aliens.
The reactor also creates another problem. Its radiation can cause surviving aliens to mutate into stronger creatures.
Use Different Weapons Against the Aliens
The spaceship includes a weapon dispenser that gives you access to different weapons.
You can collect a weapon and use it to defend your character. Different weapons provide variety as you move through the levels.
You need to pay attention to nearby enemies while visiting the dispenser. Getting a new weapon may help you continue, but reaching it can also place your character near danger.
The enemies move around the platforms and approach from different directions. You must keep jumping and changing positions to avoid getting trapped.
