Take a Fighter Plane Into the Air
WW2 Dogfight: Age of Warplane is an arcade air-combat game where you pilot a military aircraft through battles inspired by the Second World War. The action includes fights against enemy planes along with attacks on ships and other naval targets below.
You are not flying peacefully from one airport to another. Enemy aircraft enter the battle and force you to maneuver, attack, and avoid incoming danger.
Learn How to Control the Plane
Movement uses the W, A, S, and D keys or the arrow keys. Bombs and rockets have their own controls using Q and E.
This gives you more than one type of attack. Airborne enemies call for direct fighting, while targets below can require bombs or rockets.
Position matters. Flying straight toward every enemy can make you an easy target. Changing height and direction gives you better chances to line up another attack.
The side-scrolling view keeps the action easy to read. You can watch the air around your plane while also checking for targets lower in the scene.
