Make the Playing Area Smaller
Shrink 2 is a puzzle game with an unusual goal. Moving shapes travel around inside a closed area. Your task is to shrink the walls and make the available space smaller. The main challenge comes from doing this without letting a moving shape touch an orange side.
The idea sounds easy at first. The shapes keep moving while you decide which side to shrink. A safe-looking space can disappear fast once an object changes position. This means you need to watch the whole area instead of staring at only one wall.
The arrow keys control the different sides. Each direction lets you shrink a wall from that part of the screen. You need to choose a side that has enough free space around it.
Watch the Shapes Before You Move
Shrink 2 rewards patience. Pressing a direction at the wrong moment can put an orange side too close to one of the moving objects. It helps to see where each shape travels before trying to reduce the space.
A good opening on the left side does not mean it will stay open. A shape may move toward that spot while you focus on another part of the board. Keeping track of several objects becomes more important in later stages.
You do not need fast attacks or complicated button combinations. Most of the challenge comes from timing and observation. A few careful seconds can help more than pressing the arrow keys as fast as possible.
Turn the Walls Red
Your aim is to keep shrinking the playable area until the walls reach the required point and turn red. Once the stage reaches that state, you can use the space bar to move on.
The smaller area makes each decision more dangerous. There is less room between the shapes and the sides. This creates a natural rise in difficulty even though the main rule stays the same.
Shrink 2 works well for players who enjoy short puzzles based on movement and timing. You can understand the controls almost at once, but finishing each board takes more thought. The game keeps its focus on one clear idea. Reduce the space, protect the moving shapes from the orange sides, and continue shrinking until the level is ready to complete.
