Race Through Dangerous Tracks
Slope Ball is a fast side-scrolling skill game where your character moves through tracks filled with spikes, gaps, walls, and other traps. Your main job is to time each jump and reach the end of the level without crashing into an obstacle.
The character keeps moving forward, so you cannot stop and study every danger for a long time. You need to watch the path ahead and choose the right moment to act. The space bar, up arrow key, or left mouse button controls the main movement.
Some sections need a normal jump. Other parts change the way your character travels. This keeps Slope Ball from using the same type of obstacle throughout every level.
Change Into Different Forms
One of the main features in Slope Ball is the character transformation system. Portals can change your form as you move through a course. You may play as a cube, ball, ship, UFO, robot, wave, and other forms.
Each form moves in its own way. A cube uses normal jumps. Flying forms require you to control height. The wave follows a different movement pattern. These changes mean that a method that works in one part of a level may not work in the next section.
Jump pads and jump rings can also affect your movement. Speed-changing items and other course features add more variety. Some objects help you move through the route, while items marked with an X should be avoided.
Collect Stars and Reach the Finish
The tracks include stars that you can collect during a run. Getting all three stars gives you another goal beyond reaching the finish. Some stars sit in places that need better timing, so collecting everything can make a level harder.
Checkpoints help with longer courses. After reaching one, a mistake does not always mean repeating the whole level from the beginning.
Slope Ball also has a story built around five lands and five creatures. T-Rex, Titanoboa, Quetzalcoatlus, Megatherium, and Megalodon have changed into dangerous monsters. The player travels through the courses to find special polygon items connected to saving them.
The story gives the many tracks a reason to connect. You continue running through dangerous areas, collecting useful items, changing forms, and moving toward the creatures that need to be rescued.
Slope Ball keeps its basic controls simple, but the changing forms make timing important. Learning when to jump, when to let the character fall, and how each form reacts can make a difficult section much easier to handle.
