Each move sweeps a chain into one fresh tile with the combined number. You can sweep diagonally or in straight lines. New tiles appear after each merge to fill the empty spaces.
Each round pushes you toward bigger totals like 2248 or past 8192. You earn points with every fusion and chase the top score. New numbers drop in and force a shift in strategy. No merges remain and the grid locks. The play ends at that point.
